Hey there! I’m Kate Hodges, and I help homeowners sell their homes faster and for higher profit by providing simple, budget-friendly staging tips that highlight their home’s best features, attract more buyers, and increase offers.

My love for real estate started when I was about 12 years old. My parents were house hunting for something bigger than the 1,300 square foot home the eight of us were living in, and they would sometimes take me and my sisters along. Something about looking at houses during that time lit me up. Since then, real estate has always been an interest of mine. My husband, Olan, and I have owned three homes ourselves, and I know firsthand how rewarding homeownership can be. 

I also developed an interest in interior design and rearranging furniture when I was a teenager. If it had been about a year with the furniture one way, I would usually get the itch to rearrange it again. Luckily, my mom was open to my interior design ideas and let me rearrange furniture now and then.

I spent three years as a Realtor, helping people buy and sell homes they could create memories in, and that’s where my passion for staging began. One of the best parts of my job was educating my clients so they could make smart, informed decisions about one of the biggest investments of their lives—their home! I also loved helping them sell their homes for way more than they expected—there’s nothing like seeing a client’s excitement when their home sells for $40,000 more than they dreamed of!

When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my family, volunteering at church or with the high school marching band, planning our next RV trip, or watching a good comedy, period drama, or k drama snuggled alongside our three dogs.
